We have all come to know and love the washed, worn, and lived-in feel of vintage denim. Whether it’s a pair of old high-waisted Levi’s® shorts or the overalls your mom used to wear in the 90’s, denim has and will always be in fashion. Thrift shops and consignment stores are a great place to find these recycled treasures and, with a little garment construction know-how, you can turn any denim find into a DIY masterpiece.

Use a bleach pen to add patterns to your denim, or combine one part bleach and two parts water in a spray bottle to create a speckled design, making sure to target the intended area.
